cooking oil

Directions:
Preheat frying pan with 2 Tbsp oil
Sprinkle salt, pepper and garlic powder over both sides of pork chops.
Add pork chops to frying pan, brown on both sides on high heat. Reduce heat, add sliced onions, and add enough water
to cover chops. Add salt, pepper and garlic powder to water, bring to boil, then turn heat to low and cover.
Check every 20-30 min to see if you need to add more water just enough so chops don't burn. Continue cooking until chops are fork tender. At this point, turn heat to high and let almost all the water is evaporated.Be sure to stand watch
at this time because the chops can burn.
