1 pound ground beef
1 large onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 - 6 oz. can tomato paste
1 c. water
1 T. sugar
1 T. prepared yellow mustard
1 T. dried, minced onion
2 t. chili powder
1 t. Worcestershire sauce
1 t. salt
½ t. celery seed
½ t. ground cumin (heaping)
¼ t. ground black pepper

Directions:

1. Brown ground beef, drain halfway through cooking then add onions.
2. Add minced garlic when ground beef is nearly done.
3. Mix in remaining ingredients and stir well to combine.
4. Simmer over low heat for 15 minutes.
5. Serve over hot dogs.
6. Enjoy!

Brett and Alex really enjoy the coney dogs from Swensons and this is a great homemade version. They like to put sliced American cheese and chopped onions on their hot dogs.
