3/4 c. flour
3/4 t. baking powder
1/3 t. vanilla
4 eggs
3/4 c. sugar
1 c. jelly
Directions:
Directions:
Combine baking powder, salt and eggs in a mixing bowl. Place over a smaller bowl of hot water and beat with mixer gradually adding sugar. Beat until mixture becomes thick. Remove bowl from hot water and fold in flour. Add vanilla. Turn into a prepared for lined with greased paper, bake in a 400º oven 14 minutes. Turn out of the pan on a cloth and cut off the crisp edges of the cake. Turn into a second cloth, one that has been sprinkled with powdered sugar. Spread the cake with jelly and roll quickly. Wrap in cloth and cool. Serve as soon as possible.
