2 Cups Sugar
2 Cups Flour
1 Cup Water
2 Beaten Eggs
½ Cup Buttermilk
1 tsp Baking Soda
1 tsp Vanilla
2 ½ sticks butter or margarine
8 Tbls Cocoa divided in half
1 Box Powdered Sugar
6 Tbsp Milk

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour and sugar together and set aside.
Bring to a boil 1½ sticks of butter, 4 Tbsp Cocoa and 1 Cup Water.
Remove from heat and add flour and sugar while stirring.
Fold in the 2 beaten eggs, ½ cup of buttermilk. soda and vanilla.
Pour into greased (sprayed) sheet cake pan and bake 20 minutes at 400º.

Use same pan to mix the icing. Add 1 stick of butter and 4 Tbsp Cocoa and 6 Tbsp milk and cook over
low heat to boil - Remove from heat and stir in one box of Powdered sugar and 1/2 Cup chopped pecans.

Spread frosting on hot cake.


I have also added a tsp cinnamon to add a little different flavor to this cake.
