1 ½ cups brown sugar
½ cup shortening
1 cup sour cream
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
1 ½ cups rhubarb, cut fine
½ cup walnuts (optional)
½ cup white sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
2 tbsp butter

Directions:
Directions:
Cream brown sugar, shortening, and sour cream. Blend in flour, baking soda, and salt. Add rhubarb and walnuts. Top with white sugar, cinnamon, and butter; sprinkle over batter in muffin cups and press into muffins slightly before baking. Bake at 350º for 20 minutes. Done when centre of muffin springs up like a cake.
