2 cups all purpose flour
4 tsp baking powder
1 tbsp white sugar
¾ tsp salt
4 tbsp margarine
7/8 cup milk

Directions:
Preheat oven to 450º. Measure dry ingredients into medium bowl. Add butter. Cut into flour mixture until crumbly. Add milk. Stir with fork until gathered and mixed. Turn out on lightly floured counter. Knead gently 10 times. Roll or pat dough out to 2 cm thick. Cut with 5 cm cookie cutter. Put on ungreased baking sheet; close together for soft sides, 2.5 cm apart for crisp sides. Brush tops of biscuits lightly with milk. Bake in 450º oven for 12 - 15 minutes until browned.
