2 large apples, cored, cut into 1" chunks
2 large sweet potatoes, peeled, 1" chunks
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup oat bran cereal, milled to flour in blender
1/2 cup 1-minute oatmeal
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/3 cup unsalted soft butter

Directions:
Directions:
Mix chunks of apples and potatoes in 9" pie pan, sprinkle with 2 tbsp sugar. Mix remaining sugar, oatbran, oatmeal and cinnamon in a bowl. Work the butter in a bit at a time until the mixture is crumbly. Sprinkle the crumbly mixture over the apples and potatoes. Bake at 350 degrees about an hour or until potatoes are tender and the topping is browned. Serve while still warm. For special treat heat evaporated milk with a tsp of vanilla to form a "whipped cream" topping.
