2 c all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 c unsalted butter, melted
1 c packed brown sugar
1/2 c white sugar
1 tbsp vanilla
1 egg
1 egg yolk
2 c semisweet chocolate chips

Directions:

Preheat oven 350º

Sift flour, baking soda, salt. set aside

In medium bowl, cream together melted butter, brown sugar and white sugar until well blended.

Beat in the vanilla, egg, egg yolk until light and creamy. Mix in the sifted ingredients until well blended.

Stir in chips with wooden spoon.

Drop cookie dough 1/4 cup at a time onto cookie sheet. Cookies should be 3 inches apart.

Bake 15-17 minutes or until the edges are lightly toasted

Cool on baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely
