¼ cup brown sugar (or 2 Tbsp Stevia)
¼ cup chopped walnuts
2 Tbsp butter
1 tsp cinnamon
6 Gala or Macintosh apples, cored
¼ c water to 2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
2 Tbsp orange liquor (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
In large bowl, mix brown sugar, walnuts, butter and cinnamon. When you core the apple, leave about 1/2 inch at the bottom of the apple. Fill the apples with the filling and place them in the crock pot. Pour water or cider (and liquor) into the crock pot around the apples. Set the crockpot on highand cook 2½- 3 hours until the apples are soft and begin to collapse.
