Crust:
3 c flour
1/2 c sugar
1 c butter, softened
1/2 tsp salt

Filling:
4 eggs
1 1/2 c each light or dark corn syrup, and sugar
3 Tb butter, melted
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
2 1/2 c chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
In a large mixing bowl, blend flour, sugar butter and salt until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Press firmly and evenly into greased 15 X 10 X 1" baking sheet.

Bake at 350º for 20 minutes or lightly browned.

Meanwhile, in another bowl, combine filling ingredients. Spread evenly over hot crust.

Return to oven and bake an addl 25 minutes or until set.
Cool on wire rack, then cut into bars.
