1 1/2 lbs. round steak,cut into small cubes
salt,pepper
1 Tbs vegetable oil
2 C. canned beef gravy
1 c. Burgundy wine
1 can (3oz) mushrooms, sliced
1 can (8oz) small white onions (pearl onions-might be in jar instead)
parsley or chives, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Season meat lightly with salt and pepper.
Heat oil in large skillet or electric pan. Brown meat; then add gravy, wine and juices from the mushrooms can. Cover and simmer until meat is tender (about 1 1/2 hours).

Add mushrooms and drained onions. Cover and cook a few more minutes,
Sprinkle with chopped parsley or chives and serve.

I like this over cooked egg noodles, but rice or mashed potatoes would be good,as well.
