1 c. sugar
2 heaping tbsp. flour
dash of salt
1 c. milk
1 c. Carnation Evaporated Milk
3 eggs - separated
3 pats of butter
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. cocoa powder

Meringue
3 egg whites
dash of salt
6 tbsp. sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour, sugar, cocoa and salt. Add milk and stir. Seperate eggs and cook over low heat stirring constantly. Put 1/2 cup in measuring cup and mix egg yolks in and pour back. It is cooked when it globs off the spoon. add butter and stir and add vanilla. Place wax paper over pan and cool. Can add Kalua to make it into a fondue for dipping.

Meringue
Beat 3 egg whites with dash of salt until stiff. add 2 tbsp. sugar for each egg and beat until disolved . Place over chocolate filling to bake.

Bake pie crust and cool. Place cool chocalate on shell and add meringue. Bake 350º - 15 minutes. Cool before cutting.

This is Grandma's favorite recipe. She could also make a great pie crust, but I always use store bought.
