1 small can tomato sauce
1 can mushrooms
mozzarella cheese

1 small can tomato paste
rotini
other pizza toppings
Directions:
Directions:
Fry ground sausage with onions until meat is done and onions are clear. Add small
can of tomato sauce, tomato paste and mushrooms (don't drain mushrooms). Add
water and mix until it becomes smooth and rather thin. Add garlic powder, Italian
seasoning, oregano, lemon pepper (adds tang), salt, and pepper as desired. Let
simmer on back burner stirring occasionally. Boil water in large pan. Add rotini and
cook until done. Drain. Put into large baking dish. When sauce has thickened, pour
onto the rotini. Add grated mozzarella cheese and anything you like on pizza such as
pepperoni, green peppers, black olives, etc. Mix. Spread evenly in baking dish. Top
with more mozzarella cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for about 1/2 hour or until it is
bubbling at the sides and cheese is lightly browned.

Variations:
If you like the pizza toppings more done, add them to the sauce while it simmers on the
stove. Keep in mind that this flavors the sauce as well. Or you can half cook them in
the microwave.

Use hamburger instead of sausage for the sauce

Use different kinds of cheeses and pastas

Put pizza toppings on the top instead of mixing them in for more crispy results, but
beware of burning them.
