2 cups sugar
1/2 cup white syrup
1/2 cup warm water
2 egg whites beaten to sft peaks
chopped pecans (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Mix well sugar, syrup and water. Cook slowly. DO NOT STIR. Cook until it threads.

Slowly pour cooked mixture into beaten egg white, mixing all the time. Continue beating until it begins to "fudge" then add nuts to taste. Drop by spoonfuls onto waxed paper.
