Preheat oven 350º Grease 11/15 jelly roll pan

1/2 warm water
2 pkg yeast
2 eggs
2 Tbsp sugar
1/4 cup evaporated milk
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 tsp salt
1/2 cup melted butter
3/4 cup coconut
1/4 soft butter
12 oz jar preserves or use 2 kinds
2 3/4 cups flour
Topping
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup sugar
Icing
1 cup powdered sugar
milk

Directions:
Directions:
Combine yeast and water. Set aside. Beat eggs well. Add sugar, salt, melted butter, yeast and 1 cup flour. Beat 2 min.
Add rest of flour, beat until smooth. Cover and let rise about 45 min.Spread in pan. Let rise again until double.
Combine coconut, 1/4 butter, milk and vanilla. Dot batter with preserves. Top with coconut mixture.

Topping: mix until crumbly and sprinkle over batter.
Bake 25-30 min. cool.

Icing: Combine powdered sugar with enough milk to make icing-just enough to drizzle over cooled squares.
