1 c. butter
2 eggs
1 c. oil
2 c. sugar or ( 1c. sugar and 1 pwd sugar )
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. soda
4-5 c. flour ( enough to make a soft dough)
Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and butter together. Add eggs. Stir in oil and vanilla. Add dry ingredients ( dough can be refrigerated) Form into balls and roll in sugar. Can be colored sugar for holidays. Press down with bottom of flat glass. Bake on ungreased baking sheet at 350º for 8-10 min.
