2 sticks butter (melted)
¾ c. sugar
¾ c. brn. sugar
2 eggs
1½ c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
2 c. oatmeal

Directions:
Directions:
Beat butter, sugar, brn sugar and eggs together. Add flour, soda, and salt. Stir in oatmeal.

Bake at 350º for 5-8 min. Not over 10.

Staci took these cookies to the county fair. She received a Blue Ribbon and the cookies went to the state fair. The secret to this recipe is the melted butter. It did not call to be melted but we did it that way from an old chocolate chip cookie recipe.
