German chocolate cake mix
1 cup evaporated milk
¾ cup butter
1 cup chocolate chips
1 cup coconut
50 caramels
1 cup toasted, chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Melt caramels with ½ cup milk in top of double boiler. Mix cake mix with butter, nuts and ½ cup milk. Spread half of mix in 9 x 13" pan. Bake 6 minutes at 350 degrees. Sprinkle on coconut and chocolate chips and spread caramel over cake. Drop remaining cake mix by spoons onto cake. Bake 5 minutes. Remove from oven and spread mix over cake. Bake 13 minutes longer. Cool and cut into squares.
