Ingredients:  
3-4 lbs. chuck roast
c flour
Salt & Pepper, Garlic powder to taste
c oil
Large Onion Sliced

Directions:
Directions:
Add seasonings to flour. Dredge roast in seasoned flour mixture and brown in hot oil, searing every side to seal in juices. Top roast with sliced rings of onion. Cover completely with water and bring to a rolling boil. Turn fire on low to simmer until you get back from church (about 3 hours).
