Recipe for Half of a 6qt Crock Pot - Double as necessary,
DON'T just add more potatoes and barley!!

1/4 Cup of oil
1lb of Flanken
2 Marrow Bones
2 Potatoes (any)
1 Onion
6 Garlic Cloves (optional)
1/2 Bag of Cholent Mix
1/3 Bag of barley
Salt
Black Pepper
Paprika
Garlic Powder
Onion Powder
Water

DON'T just add more potatoes and barley!!

You Must Follow Instructions Carefully in order to come out good!

You can prepare cholent Thursday night, add water and refrigerate so its ready to put up as early as possible Friday AM.


-Line the bottom of Crock Pot with 1/4 Cup of oil
-Add 1lb of Flanken and 2 Marrow Bones
-Dice or Slice 1 Onion and put in first
-Then peel and Cut 2 Potatoes into small peices
-Add in 6 Garlic Cloves (optional)
-Put in 1/2 Bag of Cholent Mix
-And 1/3 Bag of barley
-Heavy Sprinkle of Salt
-Heavy Layer of Garlic Powder
-Light Black Pepper
-Medium Sprinkle of Paprika
-Light Sprinkle of Onion Powder
-Make everything nice and even, and fill with water to 3/4 if an inch above the top

DON'T MIX

Put on High till Shabbos or 3-4pm,
Then lower to low or keep warm
