1 lb ground beef (or venison)
1 egg
1 lg onion
1 Tlb flour
1 cup mushrooms
2 cups canned tomatoes
2 cups sliced carrots
2 cups frozen peas
1/8 tsp ground oregano
2 cups whipped potatoes


Mis first 4 ingredients. Brown the hamburger. Remove meat and brown onions in drippings. Stir in flour, mushrooms and tomatoes. Add meat and bring to a boil. Cover, simmer for 30 minutes. Add peas and carrots an bring to boil again. Add oregano and season with salt and pepper to taste. Pour into dish, spread mashed potatoes on top and brown in oven at 350 Can refrigerate and reheat in oven next day at 350 till heated through
