Grandma Wilsons Chocolate Cake Recipe

1 stick butter
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
4 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder

2 cups all purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 cup boiling water
1/2 cup buttermilk

In a large bowl beat butter and sugar until smooth, beat in eggs, and cocoa powder.
On low speed beat in flour, baking soda, water and butter until combined.
Pour into greased pan and bake at 350 for 40 min.

1/2 cup (1stick) butter 3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
1 1/2 cup confectioner's sugar (powdered sugar)
2 to 3 tablespoons milk
Mix until creamy
