Salmon fillets
1 ½ cups water
1 ½ cups white vinegar
¾ cup ketchup
¾ cup sugar
3 Tbsp pickling spice
1 or 2 whole onions

Directions:
Directions:
1. Cut up salmon in large chunks, add all ingredients (except onions), and cook at a low boil for 10 minutes.
2. Slice raw onions and put in a baking pan. Pour salmon mixture over raw onions.
3. Strain most of the pickling spice out and discard.
4. Best if left in refrigerator for 24 hours.
