Graham Cracker Crust:
1 1/4 C graham cracker crumbs
1/4 C ground chopped almonds
1/3 C melted butter
3 T. sugar

Cheesecake:
3 - 8 oz. pkgs cream cheese, room temperature
1 C sugar
3 eggs
1/2 C melted butter
1 t. almond extract
1/3 C amaretto

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
Mix ingredients for crust and press across bottom of springform pan and slightly up sides. Set aside.
Beat cream cheese and sugar on high speed until fluffy
Add eggs one at a time, beating thoroughly after each addition
Gently fold in butter, almond extract and amaretto.
Pour into pan onto crust.
Bake 15 mins. Sprinkle ground or sliced almonds on top without removing from oven.
Bake 10 mins more. Turn off oven and leave cheesecake in oven another 45 mins.
Cool at least 12 hours.
