Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 - 2 crust pie crust
1 1/2 cups raisins
1 1/4 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups water
4 heaping t. flour
2 t vinegar or lemon juice
nutmeg to taste (I don't use any)

Directions:
Directions:
Bring all first 3 ingredients to a boil. Add flour mixed with enough water to make a slurry and bring to a boil. Add vinegar/lemon juice after thickened. Cool. Pour mixture in pie crust. Sprinkle with nutmeg as desired. Bake at 375ºF until bubbly and browned to suit taste.

If not thick enough, you may have to add more flour. I usually just mix a little cornstarch in water until I get desired thickness.

Personal Notes:
This is Mom/Dad's favorite pie I'd make for them at Thanksgiving/Christmas.
