4 qts. small cucumbers
8 medium sized onions
1/2 cup salt
4 cups vinegar
1 tbsp dry mustard
2 tsp turmeric
31/2 cups of sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Wash cucumbers and slice them.
Peel and slice onions
Combine onions and cucumbers with salt.
Cover with a plate held down with a jar filled with water for 5 to 6 hours, then drain well.
Make a syrup with the vinegar, mustard, turmeric, and sugar.
Bring to the boiling point then add the vegetables, just heat through, do not cook.
Pack into hot sterilized jars and seal at once.
