Ingredients:
8 oz.cream cheese room temperature
2 1/2 sticks unsalted butter softened
2 1/2 t. baking powder
2 1/2 c. flour
preserve of solo fill
powder sugar

Directions:
Mix butter and cream cheese. Add flour and baking soda. form into a large ball and refrigerate over night. Roll out thin. I use a square cookie cutter to make uniform size. I place preserve or solo filing in center and fold over. (I wet my finger to hold corner together over filling.) Don't over fill as it will leak out and burn on cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 mins. Cool on a wire rack (i place wax paper on mine so the cookies won't fall through). Sprinkle with powder sugar.

Another great cook, Cathy DellAqualla gave this wonderful recipe to me. These cookies take time to roll out and fill, but so worth it. They melt in your mouth.
