1 c. Butter
1 c. Crisco
4 c. flour
2 egg yokes
1/2 pt. sour cream
1 small yeast
powder sugar

Directions:
Mix Butter & Crisco. Add egg yokes, crumble yeast & mix in sour cream. Then add flour. Mix until mixture will hold for rolling. Additional flour may be added if needed. Put in refrigerator over night, Roll out any shape and put preserves or solo filling in center. Bake at 350 degrees. ( I roll this out thin and use a square cookie cutter to make uniform) I fill center with a small amount of solo fill or preserve. I Then wet two opposite corners and press lightly together. Cool on a rack. I place wax paper on mine to prevent them from falling through the rack. When cool sprinkle with powder sugar.
