5 c flour
1 tsp soda
1 tsp salt
3 tsp baking powder
3 Tbsp sugar
2 c buttermilk
1 c shortening (or butter)
2 pkgs dry yeast
1/2 c warm water.

Directions:
Directions:
Oven 400
Dissolve yeast in 1/2 c of warm water. Mix all dry ingredients together and cut in shortening/butter. Add buttermilk and yeast. This will keep in the refrigerator for a week; use a little at a time if you wish. Pinch off and shape into rolls. Bake 12 minutes at 400.
