1 cup Crisco shortening
3/4 cup sugar
1 egg- beaten
2 1/4 cups sifted flour
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Cream shortening and add the sugar gradually. Add the eggs and dry ingredients. Add the vanilla and food coloring if desired. Fill your cookie press and form on an un-greased cookie sheet. Brush top of cookies with egg whites and put on sprinkles. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
