2 1/4 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup sour milk
1/2 cup Hershey's cocoa
1/2 cup hot water
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup shortening
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 eggs

Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour once, then measure again and mix with baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Cream shortening and add sugar gradually, beating thoroughly after each addition. Add vanilla and eggs, and beat until fluffy. Beat in flour mix alternately with milk. In a separate bowl, mix the cocoa and hot water to a paste, and beat into the batter. Pour batter into two 8" round pans and bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
