Beef and Noodle Bake Recipe

6 oz egg noodles, cooked and drained
1 pounds ground beef
1 cup sliced mushrooms
⅓ cup chopped onions
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 15-oz can tomato sauce
1 8-oz can tomato sauce
tsp pepper
tsp salt
12-oz package cottage cheese
8 ounces sour cream
⅓ cup chopped green onions
2 T grated parmesan
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Preheat oven to 350
Cook beef, onion, garlic, and mushrooms in a large skillet over medium heat. Stir in the tomato sauce and salt and pepper. In a bowl, mix the cooked noodles with the cottage cheese, sour cream, and green onions. Stir in parmesan cheese and cup of the cheddar cheese. Layer meat and noodles in a 2 quart casserole dish and bake, covered, for 20 minutes. Uncover, sprinkle with remaining cup cheddar, and bake 5-10 minutes more.
