3 1/2 c. Flour
1 1/2 c. Sugar
4 tsp Baking powder
1 c. Stout or Dark beer
1 egg (beaten)
2 Tbsp Butter (melted)
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 c. Cherries
1 c. Raisins
1/2 tsp ground allspice
pinch of salt
1 Tbsp nutmeg
1/2 Tbsp cinnamon
1/2 Tbsp Rose water
1/2 Tbsp Anise extract

Directions:
Heat oven to 300. In Large bowl, combine flour, salt, baking powder, spices, and sugar. Mix thoroughly, add fruit. Make a well in center of the dry mixture and add melted butter and egg. Mix until consistency of course bread crumbs. Make another well in the mixture, add stout/beer. Mix well and pour into 2 well-greased bread pans. Bake 75 Minutes.

This is a traditional Jamaican Easter bread. Served with a cheese spread (Jamaican Tastee Cheese) spread on slices. Very unique and delicious!
