1½ Cups Butter or Margarine
2 Cups Brown Sugar
3 Eggs, well beaten
1 Tsp Vanilla
2 Cups Flour
1 Tsp Baking Soda
½ Tsp Baking Powder
2 Cups Oatmeal
2 Cups Coconut

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
Add eggs and vanilla.
In another bowl mix together flour, baking soda, baking powder, oatmeal and coconut.
Add dry ingredients to the creamed butter and brown sugar mixture and blend well.
Roll into balls about the size of a walnut.
Place 3 inches apart on lightly greased cookie sheet. Press slightly with a fork to flatten.
(Cookie spreads while baking so could also be dropped on cookie sheet by teaspoon full.

Bake at 375º F for 8 - 10 minutes
