1 Whole Chicken
3 to 4 Stalks of Celery
3 to 4 Carrots
6 cups of water
Salt & Pepper



Ingredients for Dumplings:

2 Cup of Flour
1 teaspoon of Baking powder
2 eggs
pinch of salt
1.5 to 2 cups of water

Directions:
Directions:
In a stock pot, place cut up celery & carrots in bottom of the pot. Place chicken on top of vegetables and add water. Season with salt and pepper. Bring to a boil and cover until chicken it tender and falling off the bones.

Once cooked, remove chicken off the bones and set side.



Combine flour, salt and baking powder in a new bowl. Once combined add 1 egg at a time, once combined add a little water till you have a dough that just sticks together. Cover and let rest in refrigerate for 15-20 mins. Roll out flat until 1/16 to 1/8 thick. Cut into 1 x 2 pieces and dust with flour to help keep from sticking.


Bring chicken stock to a boil, add a couple spoonfuls of corn starch to help thicken. Place in the shredded chicken. Once it brought into a boil, add your cut up dumplings until they float. Let rest for 5-10 mins to thicken up.
