1 cup evaporated milk
1 cup sugar
3 slightly beaten egg yolks
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/3 cup coconut
1 cup chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Cook and stir over medium heat until thickened, about 12 minutes. This must be stirred constantly or it will burn on the bottom of the pan. Add coconut and chopped pecans. Cool and spread.


Easier method:
1 can condensed milk
1/2 cube butter

Heat in pan and remove from heat. Then add 3 eggs yolks, 1 at a time, stirring constantly. Add vanilla and coconut and nuts. Stir well and frost.
