¾ cup | sifted flour
1/3 cup | butter
2 eggs | beaten well
½ tsp | vanilla
¾ cup | flaked coconut
½ cup | pecans coarsely chopped
1 TBL | grated lemon peel
1 cup | firmly packed brown sugar
Lemon Glaze | ¾ cup sifted powder sugar with 2 TBL lemon juice. Blend till smooth.

Cut butter into flour until thoroughly blended. Press evenly and firmly into a 13x9x2 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Meanwhile, beat eggs, lemon peel, vanilla and brown sugar until creamy. Stir in coconut and nuts. Spread evenly over backed layer in pan. Return to oven and bake about 20 minutes. Immediately spread lemon glaze over the top. When cool, cut into bars.
