4 to 5 qt. Popped corn
½ c. butter
3 c. sugar
1 c. corn syrup
1 c. water
Salt to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Boil butter, sugar, corn syrup and water to soft crack stage. ( 270º) Put popped corn in a large metal bowl and pour syrup over the popped corn mixing as you pour it. Roll into balls with buttered hands. Work quickly so more hands you have to help the better. Wrap with Suran Wrap.

We would make these on Sundays with Grandma Dotson. I just remember my hands always felt bunt but you had to move fast to form into ball before the syrup hardened. But it was worth it!!!!
