Mary Lou and Sophie Olenoski


1 tbsp. oil
1 tbsp. sugar
1 c. cabbage
1 large turnip
1 large potato
1 can lima beans
1 large onion
2 carrots
1 bay leaf
1 chicken broth (10 oz.)
1 can tomato sauce (8 oz.)
lb. kolbassi, sliced

Chop cabbage, turnip, potato, carrot and onion.
Add chopped vegetables to remaining ingredients except lima beans and kolbassi.
Cook until vegetables are tender.
Add 1 can drained lima beans.
Add kolbassi.
Cook 10 more minutes.
