4 large carrots, peeled and cut into small pieces
10 baby red potatoes,halved
1 onion, peeled and cut into pieces
4 cups water
1-4 pound corned beef brisket with spice packet
6 oz beer
1/2 head cabbage, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Place carrots, potatoes and onion into bottom of slow cooker. Pour in water and place the brisket on top of the vegetables. Pour beer over the brisket. Sprinkle on spices from the packet. cover, and set cooker on high.

Cook on high 9 hours, 15 minutes, or until done.

*** Cook the brisket for about 8 hours. An hour before service, stir in the cabbage and cook for 1 hour or until preferred taste.
