4 pork chops
salt, pepper, and brown sugar to taste
2 T butter
1 large onion sliced
1 tsp thyme
1 C chicken broth
¼ C apple cider
3 T soy sauce
1 T Worcestershire
2 to 3 T cornstarch mixed with 2 T water

Directions:
Directions:
1. Season pork chops with salt, pepper and sugar.

2. Heat butter in cast iron skillet. Sear pork chops then put pork into slow cooker.

3. Fry onions until they begin to brown. Add herbs, broth, cider, soy sauce, and Worcestershire. Pour on top of pork
chops.

4. Cook 4 to 5 hours on low.

5. Remove chops. Whisk water and cornstarch. Whisk in the slow cooker. Add chops and cook another 20 to 60 minutes.
