2 sticks (1/2 lb.) butter, softened to room temperature
3 tbsp. regular yellow mustard
1 sm. onion, grated
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 tbsp. poppy seeds
1 1/2 lb. shaved ham
1/2 - 3/4 lb. Swiss cheese, sliced thin
16 hamburger buns*

* or 24 "slider" size buns. I've also used the Martins Party Rolls (use 2 packs of 24 each) and sliced each layer of 12 in half, prepared the sandwiches, wrapped and baked them, then cut the sandwiches apart for a smaller bite option on a buffet table.

Soften butter and mix well with mustard, onion, Worcestershire sauce and poppy seeds. Spread on both sides of buns. Fill generously with ham and Swiss cheese. Wrap in foil and place in freezer or in oven at 275 degrees for 20 minutes. For those taken from freezer, defrost somewhat before heating or increase the heating time.
