1-2 pounds of lean ground beef
1 Tbsp. olive oil
2 Tbsp. chopped garlic
1 Tbsp. onion powder
2 cups tomato puree
2 cups beef broth
1 cup small macaroni noodles (e.g., elbows, cavatappi, shells, etc)
2 cups shredded cheese of choice*
Salt and pepper to taste

1. Set Instant Pot to sauté. Add oil and allow to sizzle. Add garlic and cook 1 minute, stirring occasionally.
2. Add ground beef and cook until no longer pink.
3. Add salt and pepper, onion powder, tomato puree, beef broth, and pasta. Stir gently to combine. Set to high pressure and cook for 5 minutes. Allow pressure to return to normal.
4. Add cheese and stir gently to allow cheese to melt. Serve immediately.
