3 c. Water
½ tsp. Salt
1 c. Yellow corn meal
Flour for dipping
Butter for frying

Directions:
Directions:
Bring the water and salt to a boil in medium sauce pan. Slowly add the corn meal while stirring. Cook it on low for about 10 min. and continue to stir.
Pour into a greased loaf pan and cover with plastic wrap for at least 3 hours or over night.
Cut in slices. Coat with a little flour and fry in skillet lightly greased with butter.
Serve with syrup.
