1 lb ground beef
lb ground fresh pork
1 egg
1 Tb cornstarch
2 Tb chopped onion
c milk
tsp salt
tsp pepper
⅛ tsp nutmeg, allspice and ginger each

Optional: Ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, bread crumbs

Directions:

1. Mix all ingredients together well

2. Form into small balls

3. Fry in skillet, turning frequently.

4. Cover to steam the meatballs and to cook all the way through.

5. Remove meatballs from pan. Mix brown gravy. Add meatballs back in and simmer.

Hardest part for me is getting the right amount binding, cornstarch and bread crumbs, to keep the meatballs together. They taste great, and freeze or reheat well.
