Personal Notes:
I got this recipe, probably out of the Dimmitt cookbook, when I was staying with Grandmother and Grandad Bagwell. Grandad liked tea cakes. Montie was one of Aunt Hattie's (Grandad's sister)
daughter-in-laws. She would have been Mother's first cousin by marriage. Aunt Hattie and Uncle Moss had 10 children, 6 boys and 4 girls, and I can still remember all the boys and their wives' names. I can remember the girls names, too, but not their spouses. I didn't see too much of the girls in the summers. They didn't live as close to Aunt Hattie and Uncle Moss as most of the boys did.
