1 cup | shortening or butter or ½ and ½
1 ½ cup | sugar
2 | eggs
2 tsp | cream of tartar
1 tsp | soda
½ tsp | salt
Cinnamon mixture
½ cup | sugar
1 TBLS | cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together shortening, sugar and eggs. Sift tougher dry ingredients. Mix both together with mixer. Remove from mixer with large spoon. Add 1 ¾ cup more flour. Form dough in small balls about the size of a walnut. Combine and roll each in sugar and cinnamon mixture. Put 2” apart on baking sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes.
