½ cup butter or margarine, softened
½ cup white sugar
½ cup brown sugar
1 egg
½ tsp vanilla
1 cup flour
1 tsp baking powder
¼ tsp salt
½ tsp cinnamon
¼ tsp ginger
¼ tsp nutmeg
1/8 tsp cloves
1 ½ cups Corn Flakes
1 cup dates (or raisins, sunflower seed - optional), chopped

Directions:

Cream butter and both sugars. Beat in egg and vanilla. Add rest of ingredients. Mix well. Drop by spoonfuls onto greased baking sheet. Bake at 350º for 8 - 10 minutes.
