30 large tomatoes
8 medium onions
3 green peppers
2 red peppers
2 cups chopped celery
3 cups cider vinegar
3 Tlb salt
2 1/2 cups brown sugar
6 Tlb of mixed pickling spice

Directions:
Directions:

If you freeze the tomatoes first they are much easier to peel. Just put under tap and the skin will squeeze right off. Tie the pickling spices into a piece of cheese cloth and tie it tight .Then I just put all the remaining ingredients except the sugar into a pot, bring to a boil and simmer. Simmer till desired thickness then add the sugar and simmer more till all dissolved. Put into sterilized jars leaving 1/2" at top put lids on and tighten.
