1 Cup soft Shortening (Half Butter)
⅓ Cup Sugar
⅔ Cup ground blanched almonds
1⅔ Cup sifted Flour
tsp. Salt

Directions:
Directions:
Mix thoroughly shortening, sugar & almonds. Sift together & work in flour & salt. Chill dough.
Roll with hands pencil-thick 2" lengths. Form into crescents on ungreased baking sheet. Bake until set...not brown. Cool on pan. While slightly warm dip in1 cup confectioners sugar & 1 tsp.cinamon mixed.
Bake at 325 for 14-16 minutes.
